Controversy: Lita's.

Some people say they look odd, 'not like normal heels'. But to hell with being normal. I think whether Lita's are floral printed, a solid color, or even covered in rhinestones, they can make your overall look chic. I love them. They're funky, with class. And I plan on purchasing tons of them this coming Summer, once I've found a new job. Shoes are an addiction for me. They make me happy, and yes I sound very materialistic, but you can't stop a trend, and you can't fight style.

I want want, want so BAD. :( I seriously think know its time for a job. Nobody will hire me, but I will just have to keep pushing! By the end of my Canadian Summer, I will have found one, so that I can finally obtain these babies!
What beautiful nude heels. I completely hate myself for not noting down the brand or store, but I make it a mission. They are so chic when fitted to your feel, and really this nude beige color goes with anything. I've been wanting them for a while, and I'm always wearing others nudies out, and they fit me so well, I can't even believe it!

Again, missed out on a brand. I'm pretty sure they're JC, but I don't know the where from. I'll figure this out, hehehe. These are so sexy for a night out on the town. They can be construed as summer heels, or sexy autumn/winter booties. Black, stripped leather and the little skull makes them so cute to me! I love the front zipper, I've got tons of booties/wedges like this, the style is comfortable and again can be paired with skinnies or a skimpy black dress. ;)

The Formal Look.

I've been feeling inspired with the talk of formals and reunions, or wedding parties lately. And today I saw a post asking for opinions on formal hair styles. This caught my interest, and I've been going through photos, and blogs etc etc. I've come up with some styles I personally have a liking for, simple but elegant looks I thought others would like them too!

Make-up renditions

So today after I exchanged a pair of my new fabulous leopard print wedges, I stopped in Sephora. You know, just to look around. But after 15 minutes in the place, I realized how inspired I was to buy out the store! Seriously, so many style books and shadow pallets, I had to try some on- myself. My attempt at the smokey eye wasn't exactly as successful as this, but I did a pretty good job with the different shades of browns, bronze, etc etc. I even came home to receive a compliment from my girl (sister) :) Yeah, so I will for sure be going back there, there were a few sets I want to purchase and they had a great variety of brushes! Anyways, I hope to try this out someday, if not it will just be my smokey eye inspiration! -the glitter.
XOXO.

Ps. Sorry I haven't posted lately, camera is a bust and I've been busy. Like, a lot busy! But I will pick up, soon :).

Someone shopped!

So Thursday was a day off for me, so my wonderful bestie (sis) and I decided it would be the perfect day to get my mind off things and spend a bit of my leftover birthday cash. I bought a few things, which I am definitely excited to style and play around with for certain events& stuff for the coming seasons!

Total spendings: $218

$15
H&M

It was a real decision when I was trying to choose between two tops. Both oversized white graphic tees with some sorta womans face on the front. This one reads "Cool by day, Hot by Night". Now thats a statement ;). Ha. Anyways, I'm really into the hot grungy look lately, but I'm not looking to tear this top or anything. An oversized shirt is just what I need. Simple, and at a good price too. For my taste, at least. Black skinnies, wedges, and lots of jewelery will make this stand out for sure.

$30
H&M
This high-waist woven mini was really cute when I saw it on the rack. I honestly didn't even bother looking for my size, as I was already heading to the fitting room and it was just... There. So I just thought I'd try, just to see. I fell in love. The fit was perfect and the everything about it is just great. Its got a sort of corset thing going on& they also had it in another color and print (animal) which I am craving to go back for.. The fabric is so soft, feels almost silky. This skirt can honestly be worn in whatever weather. Winter, with some stockings and boots. Or Summer, with bare legs and sandals or booties too! Lurve it!

$130 (+hst)
Aldo

Ahhhh! I have been dying for a pair of military style combat boots for over a year now, and I finally decided to go for them despite the price! I would usually never spend this much on a pair of boots. But these, are just perfect. Real leather (black/brown-ish), and zip-up side so they're easy to get into. You can roll over the tongue for a more grunge look. 3/4 of an inch heeled, and just.. ahmygawd. Just looking at them makes me shiver! I probably sound like such a freak, but seriously, I can wear them in the slush, the snow. The heat& the sand at the beach is doable too. There's really no wrong in these boots. And they look good with anything. There's a certain edge to them, which really screams my name, and the place I am in life right now. They will last a long time and I'm looking forward to getting comfortable in them! Most likely one of the pieces of footwear you'll be seeing me in a lot this season.

So, I have to go now. It was a lovely shopping spree. Even on the way back when we stopped at Winners Outlet to just window shop was great. I have a whole new wishlist I have to show you all, sometime soon. If it weren't for the ridiculous HST taxes, I could have saved at least $15-20! Stupid. Anyways, I didn't get to buy any jewelery this trip to the mall :(. But, there's always another day for that stuff! I still have some leftover spending mullah's in my purse. I also bought two bras, which I don't think I really need to post, but I have to say I like the ones that clip in the front! Simple. Hah. And some plum/burgundy stockings were purchased at H&M too, for $6! Just a little accessory, maybe with my new skirt? Til next time.

Time for a spree.

Prairie Crop Blouse
$30.00
Bardot

I really haven't gone shopping in a while, so I'm putting together a small list of what to get. Well, I was online, just casually looking through some things, and when I saw this shirt.. I don't know, it screamed to me. This blouse is from Bardot, so when I'm at the mall I think I know where to make a stop. I think if I put it together with my leather skinnies I'm hoping to get in the near future and those animal print wedges I posted, it would look pretty cute. Decent price, too. It just went on sale from $50. Meaning, I'd be saving 20 bucks! & it's simple.
XOX.
Edit: This is now a piece of my wardrobe! It makes everything look a little chic, but still appropriate for less extravagant occasions.. You know what I mean? Anyways, on sale! :)
